Ring in the Vintage New Year (Day 8): Vintage Magic Blouse Pattern

Today's vintage pattern is for a 1950s "magic blouse" -- it drapes around you glamorously and can be worn in a variety of ways. For this pattern, it's all about draping with an oblong piece of jersey. A little seaming, a few hems and it's finished. The directions given are for a small size. For larger sizes you'll use the same amount of fabric, but the slash should be made shorter.

Materials and instructions are below. Please feel free to email us with your finished blouse photos -- and remember to Ring in the New Year by resolving to "add a little vintage to your day!"
This pattern is free to our customers until February 4, 2011! After this time, you can purchase it from our web site, just click the link below.
