Puff quilts are also known as "biscuit quilts" and date back to the Victorian era. Although this pattern is from 1955, the concept is the same -- to use odds and ends of scrap fabric to create a warm, beautiful, comfortable quilt. Puff quilts look like little puffy pillows sewn together (see below).
